Graph overview of the significant FreSCOs found in the non-redundant PDB data set. Doublet (left) and triplet (right) patterns extracted from the non-redundant protein structure data set that had a cohesive radius significantly less than expected at random. Each node in the graph represents an amino acid and each edge represents a pattern that includes the two connecting amino acids where the edge width is scaled to the number of patterns. The nodes are colored based on the properties of the amino acid: aliphatic (orange), aromatic (red), polar (blue), acidic (purple), basic (green) and glycine (yellow).
