Encodes a protein that contains several NA recognition motifs [17].

Selectively binds AU-rich elements in 3′ untranslated regions of mRNAs.

Highly expressed in many cancers.

JUN

Encodes a protein that is highly similar to the avian sarcoma virus 17 protein and interacts directly with target DNA sequences to regulate gene expression [17]. It is mapped to 1p32-p31, a chromosomal region involved in both translocations and deletions in human malignancies.

MMP2

Protein coding gene with various functions that include tumor invasion and metastasis [17]. Also associated with estrogen receptor signaling.
