Expression of β-galactosidase from the stress-inducible STRE reporter and the galactose-inducible control plasmids (schematically shown at the top of the Figure) was assayed without (open columns) and with (grey columns) treatment with 30 μM radicicol (Rd). Activities are expressed as % of the activities of the respective untreated samples, arbitrarily set to 100%. The difference between treated and untreated samples in the case of the STRE reporter are statistically significant with a p-value of < 0.05.Back to article page
